This is a time to meet me and see if my services are the right choice for you.

Two Prenatal Appointments

We will talk about your birth preferences (writing this out for your birth preference plan), thoughts and feelings about birth, as well as what my general role is as your doula. We will talk about some natural comfort measures as well as relaxation techniques. You will receive prenatal and postnatal resource lists. This will also be the time establish a comfort and trust with one another and the rest of the family. I am also available by phone or email anytime for support throughout the pregnancy. I also have a lending library that you are able to access.

Cost: $400

If you are not able to afford this rate please contact me. We can talk about a financial alternative- payment plans, reduced fee, barter.

Birth Doula Services

Continuous Support during Labor, Birth , and Immediate Postpartum

Early labor support at home. Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout labor. Assistance with initial breastfeeding. I will remain with you for 1-2 hours after birth or until you are settled in your room.

Postpartum Appointment

I will contact you a couple days after birth by phone to check-in. We will get together about 2-4 weeks postpartum to reflect on the birth, assist with any postpartum questions, and to give you a written birth story as well as any photos that may be taken.
